Anyone have any updates on the RFFSA's 1927 Baldwin 5' 3" gauge, three-cylinder Pacific? I believe it to be in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Jeff Lisowski West Chester, Pa unfunkyufo76@hotmail.com |

I went through some recent reports from Brazil in my November 2002 update to "Surviving World Steam Locomotives." According to those reports, RFFSA 4-6-2 #332 (Baldwin/58852/1925) is operational. It is being operated by the ABPF (a Brazilian railroad preservation organization) out of Cruzeiro, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Brazil is not quite the mystery it used to be. Brazilian historians believe there may be 450 surviving steam locomotives in Brazil; I have 340 of them listed in "Surviving World Steam Locomotives." -James Hefner Hebrews 10:20a > Anyone have any updates on the RFFSA's 1927 > Baldwin 5' 3" gauge, three-cylinder > Pacific?
