Impressive night photo of GG1, said to be lit with 14 fusees instead of the usual flashbulbs.

Hmm, I have a box of fusees and they are a lot more plentiful than the box of flashbulbs that I have...... Actually, unless there are flamability issues or other dangers, using fusees as a light source for night photography would be pretty useful. With a long burn time, you have time to make at least 2, maybe three exposures. Hmm...... Now here did I leave my Speed Graphic?

I know the photographer (a contemporary of Don Wood and the like), and yes, that sounds like something he'd do. Note, however, that it works nicely for black and white, but would probably be very funky in color. I wonder if Ed used any filters or whatnot.
