Santa Fe 3751 is scheduled to make that historic trip back to San Diego on September 21, 2003. The trip will be sponsored by the Central California Chapter of the NRHS and the SBRHS - it will be an Amtrak trip. Ticket information and pricing will be available soon. The last run 3751 made in regular service before her fires were dropped was the last Santa Fe steam powered passenger train to San Diego, August 23, 1953.
