Custom painted Budds

A couple of ex-B&M Budds are on the move. In the linked-photo from the Nerail archive, they're spotted in Boston below part of the big dig. I'm assuming they've been hibernating in Billerica for a long time. Check out the YEARS of graffiti.

Anyone know how many more are "stored" in Billerica?

According to Gary Young on the NERAIL discussion list: "This leaves two RDC's at the Billerica shops - a RDC-1 and a RDC-9. Both of these units left were involved in the 1972 runaway at North Station / BET incident."

It was also reported that the two Budds that were salvaged (RDC-2's #6213 and #6214) are going to be moved to track 1 at Boston's North Station to be used as utility sheds, etc.
