Interesting Brief. I have three more to add to the list. Free State Brewery in Lawrence Kansas is located in the Kansas City, Kaw Valley and Western Interurban station. I also had a college friend that operated a brew pub in the Rio Grande Southern station in Telluride, Colorado. Also, isn't New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colorado headquartered in the Union Pacific station?

New Belgium has moved to a new location; I think the Telluride brewery has closed down.

OTHER locations not mentioned include Red Star Brewing in the PRR Greensburg, Pa. depot; Union Station Brewery/John Harvard's Brew House (part of a chain, but a good chain) in the Providence, RI depot; Titletown Brewing in the downtown Green Bay, WI C&NW passenger depot (with a marketing tie-in to the National Railway Museum!); Denver Chop House in Denver, CO, located in a former UP freight depot; and MANY others.

Yes, please! A sceond part would be wonderful. There are so many of them out there, it would be great to revisit the subject.

Another rail preservation/food topic I'd like to explore is what happened to all the Cheese Cabooses? Once a common chain around northern New England, these little shops were house in wooden cabooses (most or all ex CV). I don't think any are still selling cheese, and I know of one rotting in a field, but I wonder what lives the others have gone on to?
