Post subject: Ohio Central Fall Photo Charter *PIC*
PostPosted: Fri May 02, 2003 7:37 pm

Join the Ohio Central Railroad on October 18th and 19th, 2003 for a Fall
Photo Charter. We will be operating 4-8-4 #6325 and 4-6-2 #1293 for many
run-bys, double-header action, side-by-side running, night photography,
vintage passenger and freight trains and much more. Seating is limited for
this two day event. (No one day ticket sales) This is the second year of
running the Fall Photo Charter and is one of the best steam spectaculars in
North America. Photo run-by locations are picked with the photographer in
mind and locomotives and equipment are dressed in their early 1950's livery.
This is a very exciting event, but limited to the first 80 photographers.
Reservations are a must and we expect the Fall Photo Charter to sell out
within a couple days (last years charter sold out in 48 hours)

Tickets for the event are $275/person, that includes both days of rare photo
opportunities of big steam in action, night photo, box lunches on Saturday
and Sunday and chicken barbeque on Saturday evening. You will be transported
from photo location to photo location in deluxe climate controlled coaches.
Photo locations are chosen so that the paying photographer receives the best
possible angle of the train. When you purchase your tickets, you will
receive a packet with your ticket and directions to the boarding site.

Order your tickets today by calling 1-800-482-1522 (Goodheart Productions is
assisting in ordering) or send an email to jmjohnson@ohiocentral.com with
"Fall Photo Charter" in the Subject line. Reserve your tickets now, we
cannot guarantee that there will be a third year next year.

To see pictures from last years Fall Photo Charter, go to www.ocsteam.com
and click on "pictures". You could see and photograph this awesome display
of vintage steam power if you are one of the first 80 to reserve your
ticket.

Thanks,
The Ohio Central Steam Department

Post subject: Don't Forget About the RyPN Timetable
PostPosted: Mon May 05, 2003 11:09 am

Posts like this are great - keep them coming. But don't forget about the RyPN Timetable. I am the new administrator for the Timetable, and I try to add all events I learn of here or anywhere else, but if organizations can help by adding to the Timetable themselves, it would help to ensure the accuracy of the Timetable entries.
Also, most of my information for Timetable entries comes from organization web sites. A lot of groups are real good at posting events, so it's easy for me to add the information to the Timetable. However, some organizations' web sites aren't so great, and their events aren't listed, so they don't get posted. If anyone is associated with any of these groups, please forward your event information to me, so that I can include it in the Timetable (or you can post it yourself also).
All help would be greatly appreciated, so that we can make the RyPN Timetable THE Place on the internet for all railroad preservation/history events to be found.

Thank You,
Boyd Owens
