When is the CSRM preservation symposium this year? I wrote to them after Railfair but dates weren't definite nor was the program. Any comments from past participants/attendees would also be welcomed.<br> bkroger@earthlink.net |

In a letter dated December 17,1999, the California State Railroad Museum and Foundation announced that their hosting of the symposium has been suspended until further notice; however, they would welcome and support any institution that would like to host the symposium in the future. Over the past several years, CSRM and CSRMF personnel have been extremely busy with the Railfair '99 preparations and, more recently, the opportunity to acquire access to the adjacent historic Sacramento Shops as location for their long awaited Museum of Railroad Technology.<br> |
