Anyone know whats going on with the Southern E-8 6914 and F units at TVRM? I read a while back that they were going to restore the E-8 at some point. Also, does Ed Bowers still own the Fs or does the museum have full ownership?

The E-8 is being evaluated at present, but there are no plans to start restoration. With two steam locomotives in the shop for evaluation, the 610 being prepped for the 2000 season, and working with the town of Summerville GA on the installation of a 100' turntable, the plate is pretty full in the TVRM shop.
The F units are still owned by Ed, and will be joined by my former Milwaukee Road FP7 97A which I traded to him last year. Plans are for restoration of the units.
