At that time (and we knew where the trucks were) by the time everyone was paid off it would have been $30,000 for the car, and Artrain lost patience and purchased two ex NYC cars elsewhere to fill out the consist. Think I still know where the wheels are, and know of viable alternatives (ex Zulu car trucks will fit) But still an expensive proposition. Also, you will net $7,000 (per the ad) to scrap it when pigs fly if the EPA or OSHA is anywhere around while you are scrapping it! Steve SZuidervee@aol.com |
