Interesting article in the Altamont Press Newsline about archaeologists working on a 100-year-old pedestrian tunnel under the tracks in Reno, Nevada.
Anyone know any more about the site?

Here a link to the full story on the RGJ with a few more details.

Appearently the tunnel was built in 1902 and was 180 feet long. It started in front of what is now Fitzgerald's Casino and ended under the doorstep of what is now southeastern entrance to the Eldorado. It was closed in 1918, used for storage for about ten years and then was sealed up.
