Which 0-6-0 is this?

Is this the B&O 0-6-0 at Mad River & Nickel Plate in Bellvue, Ohio? Looks like work is being done on it. Anyone have details?

Not certain, but my wild-fannied guess is that this is the Wheeling & Lake Erie 3960 under repair over somewhere in Ohio..........

The illustrated engine has inboard piston valves. I believe that Bob is correct - B&O 1190, former BR&P 152 at Bellevue, has this arrangement, and there can't be too many 0-6-0s left around, with these valves.

John: I agree with you an Bob that this is the former B&O, ex-BR&P 0-6-0 at the museum in Bellevue, Ohio. I believe that the locomotive is pictured just outside of the fenced in museum area but it looks as if the locomotive has been painted. Anyone know what the plans are for her?

Its still within the fence but at the rear of the museum. My guess for plans for the loco. would be to keep it in its partially dimantled state until all of the removed parts are lost and the people who knew where those parts go are also gone. Just my guess!

Yup, saw her this past Monday when drove by to see what is up. Don't know her heritage, but that's the same engine, near the overpass side. Man, MR&NKP sure has a lot of equipment out there; looks like there just about jam packed on track space now.
