The Central of Georgia's office car "Atlanta" was moved to the Roundhouse Railroad museum(Georgia State Railroad Museum) yesterday by Braswell Brothers house movers. The car was used by Mr. Dillard, the Central's president, from 54 on. It was removed from service shortly after the Southern bought the Central, and was then sold to Atlantic Wood Industries(then Atlanta Creosoting). The car is unaltered from when it was removed from service, complete with linens, china, porter uniforms, track profiles, magazines addressed to Mr. Dillard in the drawers of the lounge desk along with EVERYTHING else the car had while it was in service.

Good work! Glad to see the car has found a new home where others can go inside and take a look.
