Flimsies piece says Roseville group plans to sandblast this 4-6-0 before moving it. I doubt they know about the need to carefully protect all moving surfaces if they do this. Someone in the know out there needs to get in touch with these people and make sure they don't damage this fine locomotive during their restoration project.

I did email and got a reply from the head of the Roseville historical society. He wonders who the reporter of that article talked to. There are no plans to sand blast the engine. Also services were offered to the historical society to advise them on moving and preserving the locomotive.
