Just to let every one know, the Western Union Junction RR Museum is still working on obtaining the Touralux sleeper on Jones Island in Milwaukee. We were hoping for it to be transported by rail but CP Rail has told us no because of breaking system on bearings. A while back I talked to a gentleman in Ohio that had bogies that cold move the car over the highway, could, if you read this could you email us at my email address at mslater@wi.rr.com at what we would need, we have a trucking company on our end willing to help us out. Also if any one knows of a crane company that could help us out on this project please email me to. Pleas put 5744 in the subject. We looked over the car aging last Thursday, and the floor in the womanÂ’s bathroom has a soft spot while the rest of the floor is sound. All wall covering and ceiling covering in sleeper and womanÂ’s area is gone exposing pink insulation. When I get the pictures back I will create a web page of how the car currently sits.
