I was in San Antonio last weekend, Dennis. I don't know exactly when these pictures were taken but it looks just the same. The track and wire are still in place on the street that goes by the art museum. My contact at Pearl said that they're planning to put the two locomotives on display in front of the building eventually. For the time being, though, they're safely inside.

a very interesting operation with lots of history !......fantastic old brewery buildings
Two old electric motors, ex. TEXAS ELECTRIC RY.
and CITY LINES OF W.V.

VISTED the brewery about two years ago and they
were very kind to run both motors outside the
building for photos....The # 2 was in first class condishion ( ex. TE )...... The big steel
motor # 1 was a rolling junk yard with a number of parts removed. both need to be saved !!!!..............

All overhead wire of the Texas Transportation Company has now been removed. Jones Avenue is without a copper crown for the first time in over 100 years. A talk with the re-developer of the old Pearl Brewery property indicates the locos will be preserved. I hope they mean it.
