One remaining BAR F3 still is protected as an "archive" piece in the Derby Shops of the new Montreal, Maine, and Atlantic Railroad (ex-BAR). The unit (#49) is a hybrid, made years ago from a wreck. The last BAR BL2 is indoors at the Cole Land Transportation Museum, in Bangor, Maine. Both units are in their original color schemes. glueck@maine.edu |

One is at the Stourbridge tourist railroad in Pennsylvania, and two others are at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay Wisconsin |

Both WM units still exist. The 82 is in service on the West Virginia Central but currently in the CSX Huntington, WV shop for wheel and draft gear work. The BL-2 count does point out that facet of human nature that makes us collect the "freaks" while the routine pieces go bye-bye. 7 BL-2's lived to see the new millenium, but just one E7A!
