A 1992 photo of the then 37 stall CPR roundhouse at St. Luc Yard, Montreal. Since demolition last year, only stalls 29-37 remain (for M-O-W use, and two stalls for running repairs to commuter cars), plus the back wall and partial roof of 26-28. Built in 1950, it was Canada's second-newest roundhouse. Located on the edge of the yard, it would have made a nice museum, without bothering the rest of the operations. The turntable is still used, with what looks like hydraulic motors and controls at each end.
