Post subject:  Preview of Silver Coach Photo Session *PIC*
Thanks to Bruce Oldenberg, a photo session is planned for Saturday July 26, 2003 to document the Silver Coach Restaurant in Stevens Point, WI.
It was built long ago from Soo Line coach Glen Flora.
After the photo session, the images will be made available for all of us here to view.
Until then, below is a preview image of part of the exterior.

Interesting car. Are we in danger of losing it? What is its full history (builder, etc.)?

It would have been unusual for a humble day coach to carry a name. Might it have been a sleeping car or parlor car?

Sorry, my mistake. Don't know why I typed coach when I knew it was originally a sleeping car.

No danger of loosing it. It's just a really nice example of a railcar turned restaurant.
Glen Flora was one of four Barney and Smith sleepers built for the Soo Line in 1902.
