I was wondering... Who is paying for the restoration of 759?
-Alan
I know Dave is better equipped to answer this question, but I think I'm safe saying that VLR has appropriated some corporate sponsorship for the restoration.
I'll try to answer your question Alan. Brian is right, we have secured corporate sponsorship. The first project we have to tackle is the removal of asbestos. First, a survey has to be completed in accordance to NPS rules and regulations. Then, that survey will establish a cost for removal. The cost will be covered by the corporation for both phases of the asbestos removal. The survey is costing no more than $1600. Once this is all complete, we have other corporations which will donate toward the materials for the boiler and so on.
