Chicago Great Western 2-6-2 (note disc drivers) at Oelwein, Iowa. Last I knew this roundhouse still existed. Does it still?

The Oelwein roundhouse still exists. It is used
by TRANSCO as part of their car repair/painting
facilities.

On a related note, Oelwein will be having their
Railroad days on August 16 & 17.

CGW covered hopper 7230(in CNW paint)
Minneapolis & St Louis bulkhead flat 16209
CNW 40 foot boxcar
TRANSCO rebuilt/repainted cars
