Post subject:  Alabama Railway Historical Society/2-8-0 and...?
Recently have read WHEN THE RAILROAD LEAVES TOWN by Joseph P. Schwieterman. On page 9, there is a reference to an organization called the Alabama Railway Historical Society and it states that they are stewards to Chattahoochee Valley Railroad 2-8-0 #21, in additons to maintenance-of-way equipment and several freight cars. Can anyone advise where this organization is located and if they have a website giving more detail as to their equipment?

I am not familiar with the "Alabama Railway Historical Society", however Chattahoochee Valley 2-8-0 #14 is in the collection of the Atlanta Chapter, NRHS (Southeastern Railway Museum) at Duluth, GA, and has been for some time.

I don't know where I came up with engine number "14" - it is #21 at Duluth.
