What ever happened to Indianapolis Traction Terminal? I realize that if the building survived, it did without the train shed. Also, how many major interburban terminals survive today?

The office building became the Blue Cross
Building, and may have been torn down after 1973.
The train shed metal (without the tarpaper) went
to the Indiana Museum of Transportation &
Communication (sic) at Noblesville, Ind. where
it was eventually scrapped in the mid 1970s
before it rusted away.

The building is completely gone now. The shed was taken apart by Eli Lilly who wanted it preserved. It was supposed to have provided shelter at ITM. After Lilly's death, the museum had one of its financial crisis situations and the metal was sold as scrap to pay debts. Lilly did so much for preservation, its too bad this didn't get put back together to provide shelter for the museum's collection.
