I was down at the Wilmington and Western Railroad today.On the way back North going up route 41 about 10-15 minutes from WWRR,I saw a 0-6-0 with Pennsylvania on the tender sitting on the right hand side and a caboose alittle further back.Whose engine is this?From the quick glance at it,it reallly needs alot of work.Anyone know anything about this steamer?Thank you

Not too long ago, I posted a similar question. The loco is a PRR B6sa, 0-6-0, which was in stationary boiler service at the close of steam. The factory where it was closed down and the loco was left in vines and tall grass, in it's stripped condition. Someone took it upon themselves to save it (thank goodness) and it was trucked to the W&W in a fiasco of misinformation, fines, and road taxes. The owners have since repainted it as you saw it. I wish I could see it's interior, but the best pictures I've seen thus far are at a distance. The general consensus is that she's relegated to display status for eternity. Wish that wasn't the case.

PRR #60 has been stored along Route 41 for years and probably will be forever. Here is a photo and information about her from steamlocomotive.info.

#60 was stored on WW property at the Hercules siding for several years before being sold to construction contractor and WWRR board member Matt Minker. He installed his own siding off of the WW at his construction office(the building that looks like a station) and #60 was moved up the hill and to its current location. Last surviving locomotive of its class - B6sa. If I could hit the powerball, I'd make her run again, although most of her would not be original. Of well, I guess I've got to play to win. Seth

Thanks to everyone who answered my question.When the powerball was up to 250,000,000 about a month ago,I had the thought of getting 1223 and 7002 running somehow,but I know hitting the lottery is near to impossible.
