I don't know if anyone posted information about the Martinsburg Roundhouse but here is a nice story.

Post subject:  What's left of the burned one?

Are the remains of the burned roundhouse still standing? I'd like to see photos of it, as well as proposed plans for the extant building, which I assume will have little to do with its history. From what I've read, it will be turned into some sort of performance arena - sort of like the Nickelodean TV show "Roundhouse" come to life. The latter (cancelled) show, incidently, seems to have a cult following, though not as large as Star Trek.

I don't think they really have them in any detail yet. I've heard everything from a shopping complex, to a performing arts complex, to a satellite branch of the Army Ordinance Museum. Last I heard the tenative concept was mixed-use with museum space, shopping space, and arts/community center space.
