Does anyone know what is next for the 425 & 2102. They built a nice roundhouse for them at Port Clinton, but I haven't heard a thing about repairs or operation. Last I heard 425 was operable, but 2102 needed a bunch of work.
Thanks!
Alan
AlanL759@prodigy.net |

Heres the deal: 425 is more or less operable, but she might be out of flue time. I don't know for sure. 2102 needs essentially a full overhaul. As far as I can tell, Mr. Muller has no interest in spending his own money (or the railroads) to do the work. He is, supposedly, persuing some form of federal grant to do the work. But nothing definite or immediate is planned. The engine shed was really just a place to get 'em out of the way and out of the rain.
|
