Post subject:  EDWARDS RAIL CAR UPDATE

The mechanical fellows at Edwards are pleased to report that last Saturday the 1930 Brill Model-55, sold to the Black River Western, was operated under its own power for the first time for the purpose of testing the newly installed chevy gasoline engine and threre speed automatic transmission. The original Brill truck mounted gearbox performed without flaw. Interior rehab shall begine with a new floor and partitions installed per original Brill specifications. The Edwards facility is located along the tracks of the Florida Central Railroad, which provides a exceptional situation for testing cars.
