I just bought today in Strasburg RR's gift shop the new audio CD released by Semaphore Records of Strasburg RR sounds. It has two remastered cuts of #31 from the old 45 rpm (1962) as well as three new segments (including a cab ride) with #475, an unreleased cut of #90 starting up at Carpenters (pre-1979) with her off-beat gait before her running gear rebuild and a previously released cut of #89 hoofing it up on the mainline in 1977. At $5 it is a super bargain. The jacket also announces the future release of a longer playing Strasburg RR CD with more cuts of 1223, 7002 and Camelback #4. I urge all of you to go out and get this gem of a CD through the Strasburg RR gift shop--you won't be disappointed! |
