Looks like the Durango & Silverton has completed its repaint of K-28 473 into the D&RGW "Bumble Bee" scheme complete with the return of the long-banished fake diamond stack.

See the below link for a photo

Looks pretty faithful to me, though I think the tender says D&S instead of D&RGW. Below is the 1950s version for comparison. Enthusiasts of the early 1950s were not impressed with the gaudy colors and fake stack. Fifty years later, they're nostalgia, and historic in their own right.

And also 268 at Gunnison has been returned to its 1949 Bumble Bee scheme, which it wore until retirement in 1955.

Like the paint job
I could do without the bulge in the stack and the electric headlight in a oil box, but I'm sure glad to see her steaming!

Looks great... but what looks even better is that is under cover!

When was the 268 repainted? She looks very nice. I was in Gunnison in May 2002 and she was still black and sitting out in the open.
