Hello A few things to note about this caboose. Yes it is in bad shape, not not a lost cause. It has sheet plywood style sides, not the "nicer" verticle boards on many other D&H hacks. It was a "pusher" caboose with a steel frame and steel bulkheads, making it a little bit more unusual. I always thought it would make a nice display somewhere along the D&H route, a project for industrious boy scouts and a town council with a few dollars perhaps. Dave Crosby bing@epix.net |
