Flimsies piece on possible restoration of the CNR roundhouse at Hanna, Alberta. My last info is from the Canada Parks extant roundhouse study of 1991, but at that time it was still fully intact with 15 stalls of varying size and age, with the turntable still in place. The Alberta government apparently financed a study in 1981 toward making it a provincial heritage site, but it went nowhere. After the end of steam, the roundhouse was used as a livestock sale barn for many years, but it is unclear if this is still the case. Good place to park some of the many extant CNR steamers..
