| Post subject: | Four KVR Trestles Stand: Benefit Concert Planned |
Four Kettle Valley Railway trestles in and near Myra Canyon, BC have apparently not been burned in the forest fire. A concert is being planned to raise money to rebuild the 14 destroyed bridges. It may feature Elvis Costello, who once wrote the little ditty "The Bridge I Burned." See the news link below: Trestlestock? rdavis@rypn.org |

As much as I like trains and railroad history, I think someone has their priorities screwed up. Hundreds of people lost their homes in the same area.
