Scotsman at Speed

We've seen a zillion shots of the Flying Scotsman running in the last 30 years, in the UK, US and Australia, but here's an impressive one taken in the 1930s. No wonder little boys in short pants were impressed, including those who grew up to save it.

Just a little note here, for thos who may not know. This is not the locomotive that was preserved. The engine that was saved is a class A3, #4472, named "Flying Scotsman."

The loco is A3 class 2796 "Spearmint" hauling the "Flying Scotsman" train . Location is just north of Grantham exiting Peascliffe tunnel - I think southbound.
