| Post subject: | Looking for pipe dope |
I'm looking for a high temp pipe dope that is/was named GRip (capaitals intentional) which was used years ago in power plants. No luck seaching the web or Thomas Register. Basically we are looking for a type that hardens for use with steam. Thanks, Ray |

It was made by the Crane Co. and contains powered lead and seals against steam and high pressure water. fwantz@pressenter.com |

We've used a type called Expando, it's a powder you mix with water. Believe me, it hardens.
