Just a note to let the group know that there are only a few first class tickets remaining on the SAM Shortline Savannah excursion, running out of Cordele, GA on October 17. Coach seats are still available for this trip.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to see an historic mainline, of which 105 miles were originally narrow gauge. Among the interesting sights along the line are the several large river crossings--the Ocmulgee, Oconee, and Ogeechee.
