The wife and I stayed at La Posada in Winslow just about a year ago. We detrained from the Southwest Chief in Albuquerque and picked up the rental car, driving on to Winslow that night. We had a room which opened out onto the patio area and the station platform. Our time there was too short as we had to be in Williams the next morning in order to ride the Grand Canyon Rwy. It is a beautiful restoration and one of those places that you feel very comfortable and cozy in. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Don C. milw261@sbcglobal.net |
