Don't miss this rare opportunity to see the recently completed restoration of Copper Range No. 60 coach at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum (North Freeddom,WI).

On Saturday September 20th, from 10am to 4pm, an Open House will be held featuring guided tours of coach No. 60 and Copper Range diplays. This is a free event for the public to attend. Museum volunteers will be on hand to provide tours and answer questions about the 100 year old car. A must see!!!!

In the photo in the above post, note how the installation of actual Finlanders and other authentic Copper Country passengers improves the context of this superb restoration.

Nope, that's Jeff Daniels in the picture on my post, and I have yet to meet the fine gentlemen seated in #60 in Bill's. While I desparately wish I coould be in Wisconsin this weekend, I'm working here at our museum this weekend. The picture is a still from the Michigan-only run movie "Escanaba in Da Moonlight", done under Jeff's Purple Rose Productions out of Chelsea, Michigan. Although some might say I bear a striking resemblence to him....
