Business 2.0 is a Business monthly that chronicles businesses ala Forbes and Fortune, but with a heavier technology slant. The September 2003 edition chronicles the massive changes at BNSF, including the installation of GPS and the new computerized dispatching system that replaced the trainsheets used until a few years ago. If anybody wanted to chronicle the "legacy" practices formerly used at BNSF in particular, but industry wide generally.. now might be a good time as practioners with insights on both systems are plentiful and have fresh memories.
