Still there and still in use.
Looks basicly the same, just needs a new paint job.

Gone. Building was torn down and the turntable pit was filled in last year.

I was told before it was torn down that some Amish in a nearby community were to get the bricks for re-use. Dunno if that really happened.

Sadly,

Most of that building is still there, but most of the doors are bricked up. I believe it is used for storage by a salvage/storage company (Stickle). (Lots of really odd items in the yard around the building, parts of blowers, marine engine blocks, crane dericks, and lots of large unidentifiable "stuff". The office of the company has a large marine propeller (battleship sized?) out front. They also have a couple of the passenger cars from the "Purple Martin" on a storage track adjacent to the buildings, but that track was severed from the U.P./Chicago Central/Iowa Northern/Crandic tracks a couple of years ago.)

They tore down the large roundhouse (6 or 8 stall, quarter circle building [when I saw it] midway between the buildings in your photos) about 10 years ago. There are still a few bricks around in various piles. The turntable pit there had been filled in many years before that when it was part of an automobile junk yard.

I had a panoramic aerial photo that showed a third LARGER (full circle) round house to the northeast of the buildings your 2 photos show. That photo was lost due to the image literally "flaking" off when I picked it up once. The back flexed slightly and... pooff, it was gone!

What a shame, I guess it's been longer than I thought since I last saw it.
