Trying to track down history of a car reputedly built circa 1890 for the Kentucky Union Ry as office car # 50, later acquired in 1915 by L&N and renumbered 349, later sold circa 1952 to Chattahoochee Valley RR.

No record remains as to the builder and date. The car is wooden framed, over 72 feet in length overall (platform missing)and rides on composite 6 wheel trucks.

Above information is all we have, from a 1955 letter from the L&N. Any further information would be most welcome. The car is in private hands and under restoration.
