Satuday, 10/11, I rode the Potomac Eagle in Romney WV. What a great trip. On the north end of the 16 car train was B&O Passenger GP9 looking terrific in authentic paint. The south end of the train had back to back F7s. #722 in Potomac Eagle paint, ex Bessemer #722, and C&O #8016. This F unit was perfect! I have not heard much about this unit. Crew member said it was C&O HS, and that it was authentic C&O. The paint job was perfect, and not a spec of dirt on it. He said it was mechanically in great shape. What are the details of this F unit?

Also what is the back ground of most of those standard 6 wheel coaches. They looked and rode great.

A few years ago(8)we did a video for the Potomac Eagle. At that time they had the B&O GP9, an ex VIA ALCO, and FP9 #118, which was CSX. This unit is former Clinchfiled #200, not C&O. There was also another F7, number 116, which was CSX, but it wasn't C&O either. Could these be confused with the one you saw, or is this a totally different unit.
