The Western Railway Museum has just completed 3 weekends of operations transporting people to a
Pumpkin Patch with baked goods, hay rides, a hay bale castle to climb and of course the pumpkins.

The cars were two of the Museum's Key System Bridge Units built by Bethlehem Steel in 1936 and ran until 1958.

Key 187 was glowing in new paint on both the inside and the outside.for the first time in years both the inside and the outside had matching original period paint schemes. The traction orange was just right for a pumpkin train.

The archives Deptmant,where I work, supplied a aet of 1940s--1950s car cards which really brighten up the inside of the cars.

The event raised money for the museum and the nearby Shiloh Church built in 1876.
