More details have now been posted of the new forthcoming Smithsonian exhibition on the history of American transportation, the largest ever installed at NMAH. A grand opening festival is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 22. I just received the new companion book published by SI and National Geographic Press and it is first-rate.
