I believe so. In the '70s, the trolly house became the Denver Campus of the University of Colorado. The actual garage area was converted into classrooms. The trolly offices in a six story building became the Administration. I attended collage there and several times saw them cutting through the trolly rails with plasma tourches.

Yep; long gone. And the station trackage itself doesn't look much like it did then.

In the late 1980's/early 1990's, the whole plant was dug up. The power switches were removed and tower torn down, the number of tracks was reduced to 5, plus a business car track. The station is stub ended now, as the south end trackage ends about 100 yards past 15th St.

The remaining track and switches were completely refurbished, new platforms and sheds installed on two of the new platforms, new watering system installed, etc.

Interestingly, DUS today serves as a station for the new light rail system which runs on the other side (west) of the building and is reached through the renovated passenger tunnel under the tracks.

When I was in Denver a year or so ago, I was told that a replica of the "Welcome Arch" would be built. A longtime element of the station scene.
Any news there?
