| Post subject: | Wick pads for Thrust Bearing on Alco RS1 |
Thanks to help we have obtained some Journal pads, but we need some of what I call the wick pads (2"x9"x1") for the Thrust Bearings. The wick sticks through to hold in place. Try "Pressed Wool Felt" from McMaster-Carr Co. It's listed in their catalog, comes in 1" thickness- try part no. 8756K9, a 1" x 60" x 12" piece. Their phone number is 732-329-3200.<br> hpincus@mindspring.com |
