Well, having been able to go out on this little vessle once, i must say that it really is a shame that it won't be operating. It is a very historic boat, and was a nice cruise. But, since it is in Niagara on the Lake, it really doesn't suprise me that they won't assist in any type of support for them. Since i live in Niagara Falls, i had heard reports of the problems in the summer, expecially with the fact that they had to pump out the oils and such at the dock, into a truck, as there was no tank on the boat to hold it (or something to that effect anyways).... It was a great little operation, and it trulyis a shame that it may not be there in the future. Ken Jones > The woodburning steamboat pumper is for sale > on ebay. I couldn't find it on ebay. Not that I could bid more than $40, but it would be fun to follow it. Thanks, Charles bg23338@binghamton.edu |
