2004 OHIO CENTRAL RR WINTER PHOTO SPECIAL
January 24-25, 2004
Join the Ohio Central Railroad in our first Winter Photo Special on January 24-25, 2004. Grand Trunk Western 4-8-4 #6325 will recreate the past in a two day event pulling both period freight and passenger trains. Many run-bys will be held both days. Seating is limited to the first 80 photographers. Reservations are required. We suggest ordering as soon as possible due to the fact our photo trips have sold out in less than 48 hours in the past.
On the Saturday January 24, Steam locomotive #6325 will be pulling a freight train and caboose for the photographers and perform many photo run-bys at several locations. On this day she will carry her 1940's GTW herald on the tender. Photographers will be transported from photo location to photo location on our climate controlled passenger coaches. Lunch will be provided for photographers both days.
On Sunday January 25, #6325 will pull a 1950's passenger train recreating her glory as a passenger and freight-hauling locomotive. On this day she will carry her 1950's herald on the tender.
This exciting event will be the ticket to have this Winter. In the past we have done more than 40 run-bys during a two-day event. You will have plenty of opportunity to photograph the train from many different angles and locations. There is no where else in North America you can go and photograph a 4-8-4 like this. Seating is limited to the first 80 photographers. The cost for the two-day event is $300/seat.
