I'm likely headed for CT this weekend and would like to make a second visit to the Valley RR in Essex. I have not been there sinc they had #1647, since sold to NYSW. Is the following accurate? http://www.valleyrr.com/vrrsc03.htm Thanks very much! Joshua |

Joshua, By all means go. I was on the train in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only regret is that I did not pay the $6 to step up to Parlor Car accomodations. The Great Republic is a heavyweight gem of a parlor car. It's a little pricey ($28 coach, $34 parlor with AAA discount) but most enjoyable.
