Post subject:  Early helicopter

Slightly off-topic, but a description of an early attempt at building a helocopter in my Kansas hometown. The builders were both machinists in the Rock Island shops, and returned to their occupations after the device failed. This aircraft can sometimes be seen in that much-played footage of early attempts at flying.

Bob, really interesting thanks for posting it. It's amazing they weren't all killed and probably why they abandoned the project and went on to persue other interests.
