Post subject: Pre-1930 wooden cattle car

The Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton, Oklahoma was recently given a ca. 1880 railroad cattle loading platform, ramp, and holding pen from a site in Texas. We are searching for a wooden cattle car to use with our 1926 Frisco locomotive to interpret this important western industry. Can anyone suggest a possible source for a pre-1930 wooden cattle car in any condition?

Only one I know in state is at Pawhuska. It's in the museum yard by the Santa Fe Station Museum. There was one for auction in Alva last year, but it was a narrow guage (1920's) DRGW Cattle car. I don't know who bought it. Might check with the airport operator up there, he is a railroad modeler.
