Post subject:  Hardin Southern steam

Onetime Lee Tidewater Cypress 2-6-2 No.4, under restoration at Hardin, KY. I believe one of four Lee Tidewater 2-6-2s saved. Was long derelict at Monee, Illinois, with several other steamers.

Good shot of #4.
An update on the restoration progress:
Tubes removed
internals of the boiler being de-scaled in preparation for ultra sound.
Various other parts being cleaned, reconditioned and stored.
